More importantly, it is about the unique and strong relationship that is being built over time, coming up with an editorial with a certain publication in mind, then having the story sold to the editor in order for it to be published. The digital platforms of today enable both digital marketing and PR. While there is a continuing debate as to whether Facebook is really useful in building business, there is no doubt that a social media campaign can make or break the reputation of a certain brand.
At the end of the day, both digital marketing and public relation can be truly beneficial for the growth and success of any business or organization. However, it is a must to weigh both strategies to ensure that you will be choosing the one that will best suit the objectives and plans that you have for your company.
